About Siam University
Siam University has been producing skilled graduates who contribute to various career fields in our country for the past 50 years. Our academic programs are modern, practical, and applicable to the real world. At Siam, our curriculum offers a wide range of subjects and study options, along with rigorous training projects and workshops, allowing students to specialize in their interests and interact with international peers.
Established officially in 1973 by Dr. Narong Mongkhonvanit, Siam University became a fully organized, private higher education institution in Bangkok regulated by the government since 1986. Under the leadership of Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukbhasuk as Chairperson of the University Council and Dr. Pornchai Mongkhonvanit as President, Siam University has produced over 75,000 graduates for Thailand.
As of 2022, the Siam University campus in Bangkok accommodates 13,000 Thai students and 500 international students. We offer Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degrees across 46 programs, 15 faculties, and 1 graduate school. Many of our programs have international connections, providing student exchange opportunities in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the US.
In 2023, Siam University was ranked among the Top 5 Sustainable Universities in Thailand and 76th globally out of 1,183 sustainable universities by UIGreenMetric. Additionally, it holds the position of #1 among private universities in Thailand.
Aligned with our commitment to sustainability, Siam University faculty, students, and officials collaborate with the local community of Phasicharoen district, Government Saving Bank, and other governmental and private sectors. Our partnerships with the local community aim to preserve the environment and foster sustainable practices through innovative initiatives and shared responsibilities.
