Samitivej Hospital
Samitivej Hospitals, a part of Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS), is a leading chain of private hospitals servicing Thailand and the ASEAN region. Samitivej’s first hospital was established in June 1979. Samitivej’s main office is located in Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, Sukhumvit Soi 49 in Bangkok.

Additional accolades include the Joint Commission International (JCI) hospital certification and Thailand’s 2004 Prime Minister Award for the Most Recognized Service. First hospital outside of Japan to receive the Japan Council for Quality Health Care (JCQHC) accreditation was Samitivej. Samitivej Hospital, which ranks among the top 10 hospitals worldwide for medical travelers, was crowned the greatest hospital in Asia for medical tourists by the Medical Travel Quality Alliance (MTQUA).
